Hello everyone, this is another guide in my how to make gil series. This guide will focus on items you can gather at lv60 and there will be a separate guide for while levelling gathering in the future.

If you have any additions or things i missed, feel free to let me know. The cost of things mentioned will vary from server to server so do you own research also on what works, the gil cost i give are for NQ and not HQ as with most things you gather HQ will be in the minority. If anyone has suggestions for more guides let me know. Adamantite ore - 2, gil each.

Node is every 30 mins and can obtain around depending on buffs with the node. Used in various crafts from lv60 onward such as the adamantite set but also many other things. Raw Chrysolite - gil each. Node has no time cap and can be obtained at any point. Used in the chrysolite accessories and also a few of the good ALC red scrip hand ins.

Beastkin Horn - gil each. Used mostly for spiritbonding carbonweave but also has a few other things. Lumythrite sand - gil each. Used in high mythrite nuggets. Sphalerite - 2, gil each.

From diadem so need FC airships and a person to farm well. Lumythrite Ore - 4, gil each. Node is every 60 mins. Used in high mythrite ingots.

Smithsonite ore - k gil each. Used in eikon iron ingots. Meteorite - 4, gil each. Used in luminous fiber so will be wanted even next patch.

I didnt mention lots of the old folklore stuff because they dont sell well or frequently therefore are not good to make gil with.

I would say the best options are trying to do as many timed ones as possible. Chrysolite isnt worth much but seems to sell fast especially around scrip reset time. Meteorite will have value til 4. The old stuff may have use in the future and i will edit the guides if so. Camphorwood branch - 1, gil each. Used frequently in camphor which is needed for many crafts. Furymint - 6, gil each. Ephemeral node restrictions look to the bottom.

Not a lv60 item but its not something you would gather to lv because of how the nodes work. Is used in many potions wanted at lv60 for battle classes and also for blue scrip farming. Black soil - 1, ech. Used in moogle relic item so will keep having a use. Whitefrost cotton boll - gil each. Used in an eikon mat so will have use for ironworks gear.

Royal Mistletoe - 6k gil each. Used in many crafts currently such as a relic item and the max potions. In demand because raids.

Used in all the camphorwood accessories. Node is timed every hour. Crystalized sap - 3, each. Used in luminous fiber. Node is timed every 60 mins. Wattle bark - k each. Timed every 60 mins. Used in many things. Frost cotton boll - k each. Used in lots of eikon cloth so will stay relevant. I would say Furymint is a good one to use, can sometimes jump up in price randomly or has for me before. Aside from that, try to time a few of the timed ones together and even use gathering nodes.

I dont really know my fishing items that well so if anyone knows some of the better stuff let me know. These will probably go up as we know they are aquarium fish for sure. From diadem so can be a bit annoying to get but you can get like 12 every 45mins from diadem so is very good. Gem marimo - 20k each but also from diadem. Can be good to get if the markets selling faster or you need a wider variety of things to sell.

Some things you can spend gathering scrips on can be sold for gil. Brute leech fish and other bait - 1k each so not really that good of a method. But if you have blue scrips and no use you might as well.

Uses a red scrip token for each one. You can get glass fiber from it. Each gathering class can gather treasure maps still only 1 a day across all 3.

Check what one is best probably dragonskin and can sell that or if dragonskin could get a few friends and go aquapolis. Certain items can be reduced and made into aethersand. These aethsands can then be sold for some decent gil. This is the list i search up to find where the nodes are currently at and this is the rotation i use.

It does not mention the newest aethersand much, it is the same method just with the item from the ephemeral item classed as 1 star. Not exactly lv60 gathering but the levelling guide wont be out while this is relevant. With apartments many mats used in furnishings will be used lots. This is lots of ores and lumbers and other stuff. See whats used in lots of furnishings. Remember, not all methods are made equal and some better than others but that will also depend on server.

Its also better to spread out what your selling so it sells faster and your methods cant be ruined easily if one market crashes. Do a little research and have fun making some gil: Today I've been spending time making stuff for my apartment and I've been doing it self sufficiently. This is easy for newer gathering to make a quick buck!

It depends on the server. Not many people are pre-crafting because they'll worry about filling the apartment up when they have it. So it's up to you but maybe get two stacks and put half a stack up now to see how it goes and then if it's slow just save the rest for patch: Thanks for the suggestion; I never really play the market much, and those that do generally don't talk about anything because, well..

Why would they ruin their market right? My gil was all primarily from selling philosophies back in 2. Honestly people being super secretive about how they make money doesn't really make too much sense to me these days. Be secretive in 4. I dono, just how I feel when I see basic stuff cost so much and new users so confused as to how they can get on the crafting market.

Lower level 3star gathers of note, for those leveling up their gathering classes: Important for housing items too. Thinking about Flax makes me cry. To be fair, it's not easy getting the capital to level crafters, though gathering in the 50's is also a pain. Maybe if trying to do it fast.

Getting everything to 60 hardly cost me any gil, just took a lot of months. Leve items were much easier and simplier to make back in 2. Smithing for example could have me using titanium nuggets where as I could just smith titanium nuggets for blue script and spam that all day and get 60 with a tenth of the effort.

Just leveling my Weaver to 50 in 2. And that was a shit ton of money back then. You were bad at crafting then. Crafting makes money at every point in the leveling process Even more nowadays when combined with desynth. You don't hq everything in the leveling process but still, if you craft the right items you make money regardless.

I really wish that prices were that good on my server.. Im on EU actually, zodiark. Were kindof low pop which is nice for crafters wanting to make gil as things still sell at a frequent pace. As others have mentioned, retribution staff from diadem usually goes for around 30k each and you can get 33 in one Hard mode setting. Any fish used for Raid food is a pretty decent sell.

Google

Such as Sweetfish, Pipira pira, Steamed Staff etc. Now go ahead and make a retainer that is the same class as your 60 and level him up too. This way you'll be pretty self-sufficient and won't have to spend a lot of gil on the MB.

I get most of my gil from Mining, Botanist, and Fishing. Just spamming out HQ stuff and the extras in between. I mean, if I really settle down and really concentrate on making mad gil, i think it would be pretty insane lol. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Fishing I dont really know my fishing items that well so if anyone knows some of the better stuff let me know. Aetherial Reduction ephemeral nodes: Apartments means everyone and their mum are going to be making housing items. Granite, Marble, Flax, Fleece, every ore you can think of.

Flax and fleece are both obtainable, and I can get several ores. Your suggestion would presumably be to wait on selling them until the patch hits, then?

But I could be very wrong and downvoted lol I dono, just how I feel when I see basic stuff cost so much and new users so confused as to how they can get on the crafting market. No way is this a complete list, but something to get you started.

I miss selling philosophy tomes. Also Diadem Might just be called stave or something. Just spamming out HQ stuff and the extras in between I also make a killing as an Alchemist. During the apartment phases Posts are automatically archived after 6 months.
